
Dr Mark McComiskey trained in obstetrics and gynaecology in Northern Ireland, including being awarded an MD from Queen’s University, Belfast. He subspecialised in gynaecological oncology during a fellowship in Manchester, involving being trained at the world famous Christie Hospital.
He works as a Consultant in the Regional Gynaecological Cancer Centre in Belfast and receives referrals from all hospitals in Northern Ireland for consideration of major gynae cancer surgery.
Outside of treating women with cancer, Dr McComiskey’s professional interests include using a holistic and caring approach to diagnosing and treating a wide range of gynaecological disorders. He is an expert in using a combination of medical treatments as well as surgery (especially keyhole surgery) to manage many conditions relating to women’s health.
